★ Our Verdict

The iPhone XS earns a solid 8/10 for its still-capable performance, excellent camera, and premium display, despite its aging battery life and being discontinued.

The iPhone XS remains a capable smartphone, especially if you're looking for a premium Apple experience at a reduced cost. As it's no longer sold new, consider reputable refurbished options to ensure battery health and warranty. Its A12 Bionic chip still handles most apps and games well, and the dual-camera system captures impressive photos. While battery life isn't its strongest suit compared to newer models, it's generally sufficient for a day of moderate use. It's an excellent choice for those who appreciate a compact form factor and the iOS ecosystem, but be aware of its age and the lack of future major iOS updates.
