★ Our Verdict

The OnePlus 6T delivered flagship-level performance and a premium user experience at a significantly more affordable price than its competitors, despite some compromises like the absence of a headphone jack and wireless charging.

The OnePlus 6T, while an older model, can still offer a decent Android experience for budget-conscious users or as a secondary device. Its Snapdragon 845 chipset remains capable for most daily tasks and even some light gaming, and the Optic AMOLED display is still vibrant. However, be aware that official software updates have concluded, meaning it will not receive the latest Android versions or security patches. When considering a used unit, prioritize devices with good battery health, as degradation is common in older phones, and check for any signs of screen burn-in on the AMOLED panel. Ensure the in-display fingerprint sensor functions correctly. Given its age, expect to find it at a very low price, making it a potentially good entry-level smartphone for light users who prioritize performance over the latest features and software support.
