★ Our Verdict

The OnePlus 6 offered flagship-level performance, a great display, and a clean software experience at a highly competitive price when it was released, making it an excellent value.

The OnePlus 6, while an older model, can still be a decent budget smartphone for basic tasks and media consumption if found at a very low price. However, be aware that official software updates have ceased, meaning it won't receive the latest Android versions or security patches, which could be a concern for security and app compatibility. Battery life on a used device may also be degraded. Consider it if you prioritize a smooth, clean Android experience and solid performance for its age, but only if the price is right and you understand the limitations of an unsupported device. For daily drivers, newer budget or mid-range phones will offer better long-term support and potentially improved camera performance.
