★ Our Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) offers a solid budget-friendly experience with good battery life and a decent camera, but its dated design, lack of a fingerprint sensor, and limited RAM hold it back from a higher score.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) is a suitable option for users seeking an affordable and reliable smartphone for basic tasks like calling, texting, and light social media use. Its long-lasting battery and user-friendly interface make it a practical choice for those who prioritize endurance and simplicity over cutting-edge features. However, be aware of its limitations, such as the absence of a fingerprint sensor and its modest performance, which might not satisfy users who engage in heavy multitasking or graphic-intensive gaming. Consider this model if you're on a tight budget and need a dependable device for everyday communication and media consumption, especially if you can find it at a significantly reduced price or refurbished.
