★ Our Verdict

The Meizu Pro 6 Plus offered strong flagship-level hardware for its time, including a great display, powerful processor, and excellent audio, but was held back slightly by its older Android version at launch and limited international availability.

The Meizu Pro 6 Plus, released in late 2016, was a compelling flagship device with a stunning QHD Super AMOLED display and a powerful Exynos 8890 chipset. While its hardware was top-tier for its era, running Android 6.0 at launch means it's significantly outdated in terms of software support and security updates today. For collectors or enthusiasts of Meizu's unique Flyme OS and Hi-Fi audio capabilities, it might be an interesting device. However, for daily use in 2024, its performance, camera, and battery life would be severely outclassed by modern mid-range phones, and finding new units or official support would be challenging. Consider it only if you understand its limitations as a vintage device and prioritize its unique features over contemporary smartphone standards.
