★ Our Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core receives a rating of 4/10 due to its extremely basic specifications and limited performance, which are offset only by its ultra-low price point and suitability for very light, essential smartphone use.

The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core is strictly for users seeking the absolute cheapest new smartphone for essential communication. It's ideal as a first phone for children, a secondary device, or for individuals with very minimal app usage and low performance expectations. Do not expect smooth multitasking, high-quality photography, or extensive gaming. Consider this phone only if your budget is extremely tight and your needs are limited to calls, texts, and very light internet browsing. Be aware that software updates have ceased, which could pose security risks over time. For slightly more demanding use, even a small increase in budget can unlock significantly better performance and features in other entry-level models.
