★ Our Verdict

The Redmi 17 4G offers an outstanding battery, large 120Hz display, and good durability for its price point, though the HD+ resolution and entry-level processor are compromises.

The Xiaomi Redmi 17 4G is an excellent choice for users prioritizing exceptional battery life and a large, smooth display for media consumption and everyday tasks. Its 7500mAh battery, coupled with 45W fast charging and even reverse charging, makes it ideal for those who need a phone that lasts for days without constant recharging. While the HD+ resolution on its 6.9-inch screen might not be the sharpest, the 120Hz refresh rate ensures a fluid user experience. The IP64 rating adds a welcome layer of durability against dust and splashes, making it suitable for active users. However, if high-performance gaming or a super-sharp display are your top priorities, you might consider alternatives with more powerful chipsets and higher resolution screens, even if it means a smaller battery. This phone is best suited for budget-conscious users seeking reliability and endurance.
