★ Our Verdict

The Redmi Note 7 offered exceptional value at its launch, combining a high-resolution camera, solid performance, and a large battery at an aggressive price point, despite some software quirks and the included charger not being the fastest.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, released in 2019, was a groundbreaking device for its price, but it's important to consider its age in 2026. While it still offers a decent display and a capable camera for basic use, its software support has likely ended, and performance will not match newer phones. It could serve well as a secondary device, a phone for light users, or for those on a very strict budget who prioritize a good camera and battery life over cutting-edge performance and the latest software updates. Be mindful of potential battery degradation and software issues common with older devices.
