★ Our Verdict

While offering unique features like an audiophile-grade headphone jack and true optical zoom, its high price and inconsistent camera performance in auto mode prevent a higher score.

The Sony Xperia 1 VII is ideal for audiophiles, videographers, and photographers who prioritize manual controls and Sony's unique creative features. Consider this phone if you value an exceptional wired audio experience, a high-quality display for media consumption, and a camera system with genuine optical zoom. However, be mindful of its premium price tag and evaluate if its niche strengths align with your primary use cases, especially if you rely heavily on automatic camera modes. Check regional availability, as it may not be officially sold in all markets. If long-term software support and expandable storage are crucial, the Xperia 1 VII is a strong contender.
