★ Our Verdict

While innovative with its unique edge display and strong specifications for its time, its high price and niche appeal of the curved screen limited its broader impact.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, released in 2014, was a pioneering device known for its distinctive curved "Edge Screen." If you're considering this phone today, it's important to understand its age. It runs on an older version of Android (upgradable to Marshmallow) and its hardware, while premium for its era, will struggle with modern demanding applications. It could be a collector's item or a novelty for those interested in smartphone history, particularly its unique display. However, for daily use, you'll find much better performance, camera quality, and software support in even budget-friendly modern smartphones. Expect limited app compatibility and security updates. Only consider it if you appreciate its historical significance and unique design, not as a primary daily driver.
