★ Our Verdict

The LG G4 offered a superb display and camera for its era, along with user-friendly features like a removable battery and expandable storage, but its overall performance and battery life were considered average compared to some rivals.

The LG G4 is an older smartphone, released in 2015, and is no longer officially supported with software updates. While it offered a great camera and a vibrant QHD display in its prime, modern apps and operating systems may struggle on its Snapdragon 808 chipset. Its removable battery and expandable storage are appealing, but potential buyers should be aware of the lack of security updates and the possibility of hardware issues common with older devices. It might be suitable for a very basic secondary phone or for collectors, but it is not recommended as a primary device for daily use in 2026. Consider newer, budget-friendly alternatives for better performance, security, and longevity.
