★ Our Verdict

The Honor 7C offered a compelling package of features like dual cameras and face unlock at an affordable price at its launch, but its HD+ display and entry-level processor were notable compromises.

The Honor 7C, released in 2018, was a strong contender in the budget smartphone segment, offering features like dual cameras and face unlock that were not always common at its price point. While its Snapdragon 450 processor and HD+ display are modest by today's standards, it could still serve as a basic smartphone for light usage, communication, and media consumption. Consider it if you need a very inexpensive device for essential functions or as a secondary phone. However, for a more modern experience with better performance, display, and camera quality, newer budget phones from brands like Xiaomi or Realme would be a more suitable choice. Always check for software update availability and battery health if purchasing a used unit.
