★ Our Verdict

The Asus Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL) offered a compelling package at its release, combining a premium design, a solid display, and a capable camera for its mid-range segment, though its software support has since ended.

The Asus Zenfone 3 (ZE552KL) is an older smartphone, originally released in 2016, and is no longer officially supported with software updates. While it features a premium design and a decent camera for its time, its performance and battery life will be significantly outmatched by modern budget phones. It might be suitable for basic tasks or as a secondary device, but expect limitations with newer apps and security. If considering a purchase, ensure the price reflects its age and lack of ongoing support, and prioritize devices with newer Android versions for better security and app compatibility. Look for units in good condition, as replacement parts might be scarce.
