★ Our Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was a highly innovative and visually striking device for its time, offering top-tier performance and camera capabilities, though it had some notable limitations like a non-removable battery and lack of expandable storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is now an older smartphone, making it less suitable as a primary daily driver due to outdated software, potential battery degradation, and a lack of ongoing security updates. While its iconic design and once-powerful specifications were impressive, modern applications and operating systems may struggle to run optimally. It could be a valuable acquisition for collectors interested in smartphone design history or as a very inexpensive secondary device for basic communication. However, for practical everyday use, newer budget smartphones offer significantly better performance, battery life, and software support for a comparable or lower current price.
