★ Our Verdict

While a groundbreaking device at its release with a stunning display, powerful camera, and innovative S Pen, its age means its performance and software support are now significantly outdated compared to current smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4, while a landmark device in its time, is now an older smartphone. If you're considering purchasing one today, it's primarily for collectors, those seeking a nostalgic experience, or users with very basic needs who appreciate its removable battery and expandable storage. Be aware that it runs an outdated version of Android, meaning many modern apps may not be compatible, and security updates are non-existent. Battery life on a used device will likely be degraded, and finding new, genuine replacement parts can be challenging. For daily use, especially with current applications and security requirements, newer budget or mid-range smartphones will offer a significantly better and more secure experience.
