★ Our Verdict

The OnePlus Nord 5 offers a compelling package of high-end performance, a superb display, and excellent battery life with fast charging, making it a strong contender in its segment despite minor omissions.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is an excellent choice for users prioritizing gaming performance, a vibrant display, and long battery life. Its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset ensures smooth operation for demanding applications and games, complemented by the 144Hz AMOLED screen for an immersive visual experience. The substantial 6800 mAh battery, paired with 80W SuperVOOC charging, means you'll spend less time tethered to an outlet. While it lacks expandable storage and a headphone jack, the generous internal storage options and robust camera system with AI features make up for these. Consider this phone if you're looking for a powerful mid-range device with strong software support and don't mind the absence of a microSD slot or a 3.5mm jack. However, potential buyers should note its limited regional availability.
